BMW 3 Series has officially gone on sale in India on 21 st August priced at Rs 41.40 lakh to Rs 47.90 lakh. In India it offers two engine options – BMW 330i and the BMW 320d. The new 2019 BMW 3 Series is the seventh-generation model. The first BMW 3 Series was launched in 1975
The BMW 330i is powered by a 1998 cc four-cylinder petrol engine that is tuned to churn out a maximum of 255 bhp at 5000 rpm and develops a peak torque of 400 Nm between 1550 – 4400 rpm. The diesel option, BMW 320d, on the other hand, is powered by 1995 cc four-cylinder oil burner that is tuned to churn out 188 bhp at 4000 rpm and develops a peak torque of 400 Nm between 1,750 – 2,500 rpm. Both the engines come mated to eight-speed Steptronic Sport Automatic transmission.
